Afoot은 계정도 서버도 없는 온디바이스 이동 트래커입니다. 개발자(DevPlant)는 여러분의 어떤 개인정보도 수집·저장·전송하지 않으며, 앱이 만든 모든 기록은 여러분의 기기 안에만 존재합니다.

1. 앱이 사용하는 정보와 저장 위치

Afoot은 기능 제공을 위해 아래 정보를 기기에서 사용합니다. 모두 기기 내부에만 저장되며 외부로 전송되지 않습니다.

• 위치 정보 — 이동 경로·거리·고도 기록. 백그라운드 기록을 위해 “항상 허용” 권한을 사용합니다.
• 모션 및 피트니스 — 걷기·달리기·자전거·이동을 구분하고 걸음 수·층수·기압을 기록합니다.
• 건강 데이터(선택) — 사용자가 켠 경우에만 Apple 건강에 운동·경로를 쓰거나 심박수를 읽습니다.
• 앱 설정 — 잠금·알림·단위 등 사용자 설정값.

이 데이터는 Apple의 SwiftData를 통해 기기 저장소에 보관되며, 개발자는 이에 접근할 수 없습니다.

2. 수집하지 않는 것

• 계정·이메일·전화번호·이름 등 어떤 식별 정보도 요구하거나 수집하지 않습니다.
• 분석(Analytics)·크래시 리포트·광고 SDK를 일절 포함하지 않습니다.
• 광고 식별자(IDFA)를 사용하지 않으며, 어떤 형태의 추적(Tracking)도 하지 않습니다.
• 개발자 서버가 존재하지 않으므로, 서버로 전송되는 데이터도 없습니다.

3. 제3자 제공 및 외부 통신

Afoot은 여러분의 데이터를 제3자에게 판매·공유·제공하지 않습니다. 앱이 네트워크를 사용하는 경우는 다음 한 가지뿐이며, 이때도 개인 식별 정보는 전송되지 않습니다.

• Apple 지오코딩(선택적·자동) — “이동” 구간이 수역(바다·강) 위인지 판별해 아이콘을 표시하기 위해, 해당 구간의 좌표 몇 개를 Apple의 위치 서비스로 조회할 수 있습니다. 결과는 기기에 캐시되며, 이 조회는 Apple의 개인정보 처리방침을 따릅니다.

Apple 건강(HealthKit)에 저장한 데이터는 Apple 건강 앱의 관리 대상이며, Afoot이 아닌 사용자 본인의 저장소에 보관됩니다.

4. 데이터 보관 및 삭제

• 기록은 사용자가 삭제하기 전까지 기기에 보관됩니다. 앱 내 활동 화면에서 개별 기록을 삭제할 수 있습니다.
• 앱을 삭제하면 앱이 만든 모든 데이터가 기기에서 함께 삭제됩니다. 개발자에게는 복구할 수 있는 사본이 없습니다.
• GPX 내보내기로 언제든 본인의 데이터를 반출할 수 있습니다.

5. 보안

Face ID 또는 6자리 암호로 앱을 잠글 수 있습니다. 암호는 iOS 키체인에 저장됩니다. 기기 자체의 암호화와 잠금 설정이 데이터 보호의 기본이 됩니다.

6. 아동의 개인정보

Afoot은 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동을 포함한 누구의 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다.

7. 변경 고지

본 방침이 변경되면 이 페이지에 갱신일과 함께 게시합니다. 데이터 처리 방식에 중대한 변경이 생길 경우 앱 업데이트 노트로도 안내합니다.

Afoot Privacy Policy

No data collected

Afoot is an on-device movement tracker with no account and no server. The developer (DevPlant) does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. Everything the app records stays on your device.

1. Information the app uses, and where it is stored

Afoot uses the following on your device to provide its features. All of it is stored only on the device and is never transmitted to us.

• Location — to record your route, distance, and elevation. “Always” access is used so recording can continue in the background.
• Motion & Fitness — to tell walking, running, cycling, and driving apart, and to record steps, floors, and barometric pressure.
• Health data (optional) — only if you enable it: writing workouts/routes to Apple Health, and reading heart rate.
• App settings — lock, notifications, units.

Data is stored on-device via Apple's SwiftData. The developer has no access to it.

2. What we do not collect

• No accounts, emails, phone numbers, or names are requested or collected.
• No analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs are included.
• No advertising identifier (IDFA); no tracking of any kind.
• We operate no server, so there is nothing for your data to be sent to.

3. Third parties and network use

We do not sell, share, or provide your data to third parties. The app makes network requests in exactly one case, and no personally identifying information is sent:

• Apple geocoding (optional, automatic) — to decide whether a “Drive” activity crossed water (so it can show a ferry icon), a few coordinates from that activity may be looked up via Apple's location services. Results are cached on device; such lookups are governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Data written to Apple Health lives in your own Health store, managed by Apple — not by Afoot.

4. Retention and deletion

• Recordings stay on your device until you delete them. You can delete individual recordings in the app.
• Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. We hold no copy to restore.
• You can export your data at any time via GPX export.

5. Security

You can lock the app with Face ID or a 6-digit passcode; the passcode is stored in the iOS Keychain. Your device's own encryption and passcode remain the foundation of that protection.

6. Children's privacy

Afoot is not directed at children under 13, and collects no personal information from anyone.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the update here with a new date, and note material changes in the app's release notes.
